Hexcam Nut
A hexcam nut, also known as a flanged hex nut or serrated flange nut, is a specialized type of nut that combines the features of a hexagonal shape and a built-in washer. The nut has six flat sides, allowing for easy gripping and tightening. The flange, or the washer-like extension, provides a larger bearing surface, distributing the load and reducing the risk of damage to the surface being fastened. The serrated edges on the flange create resistance against loosening due to vibration or torque. Hexcam nuts are commonly used with our Standard or Light Bearing Mod Wings!
